Ways To Protect A Falling Egg

Some news of my adventures

End of first semester and holiday ... Starting the second half.

I did not have and not take the time to write before. The examinations were intense both in the difficulty level at the time needed for revisions.

Summary of previous episodes:

Party at EPFL in Switzerland in September to do a double degree in computer science, I spent the first half pretty violent with all my classes in English (until then it will) given by Teachers leaving the larger schools (Stanford, MIT, Yale, ETH ...). The level in math is high, especially in the compulsory courses.

I had 14-week course is short when you think, but very dense. Classes ended in late December. The two weeks of Christmas holidays and the first week of January is reserved for revisions. Follow three weeks of exams (final exam).
is long, especially when we only have 5 subjects to go, my 6th review that took place in late December. The hardest I think is that it moves the part it has been over a month since you've finished the course. Not easy to get back into the bath.

Once the partial finished, it follows two weeks of vacation (yes ehhh .... Again ...). I think this is the first time in my life that I preferred to return to school to finish earlier this summer, saying that it has been 2 months since I'm on vacation.
I took this time to go skiing 4 days with fifty students, spend a weekend in Grenoble and advance my semester project, a project of 12 credits asking about 350h of work I created in the Virtual Reality Laboratory at the EPFL.

At the end of the first week of vacation that my grades dropped. I was very scared not to validate and Information Theory Coding, but finally it happened. The notes are available online, a PDF is automatically generated. I validated all of my courses, 15 credits of required courses, courses the most boring and hard (over 15 required) and 16 credits of options (27). It remains for me to finish my project of Humanities and Social Sciences which is the whole year (6 credits total), my semester project (12 credits) and 11 credits of courses varied. I will remain once all this validated my master project (Final Project Study in France).

past my notes I made to my home school (INP Grenoble ESISAR) order to validate my semester in France.

Yesterday, Monday, Feb. 16, classes resumed at the EPFL.

My schedule is much more relaxed than in the first semester and the courses I take are all very interesting. I am not yet sure of the materials that I choose, but it looks like this:

Monday from 8 am to 13h: Business Plan (3 credits) for IT services and Virtual Reality (4 credits)
Possibly Tuesday from 9am to 12pm: Early detection of Technological Innovation potential (4 credits)
Wednesday from 9 am to 12 pm: High-tech Marketing (4 credits)
Possibly Wednesday evening one week of 2 from 16h to 19h: Entrepreneurship and Emerging Economies (2 credits)
Thursday from 16h to 19h: Entrepreneurship (4 credits)

courses that I put in eventually, it depends on my mood, my time of filling that I have with the teacher etc.. I do not need these credits, it's only for my culture if the courses are interesting. I am at least 15 credits for my back (and more material), so 4 courses in total.

The second half will be much more interesting than the first. My schedule is free, although I must spend much time in my lab for the project semester. I have a lot more time to go out and travel.

Enjoy!
