it snow!
This morning it was snowing ... Suddenly a question!
How many snowflakes can you see? 200? 1000? 1 billion?
Nothing better than to count! We just want an order of magnitude.
We took a sample image of 74 * 67 pixels
Result: 66 flakes to the surface ... It has 132 miles flakes in the picture.
But when we look at the sky our field of view is larger than the unit, about 6 times.
This morning, we could see 800 miles flakes!
The magnitude is a million in 15 seconds (the time that the snowflake falls). In fact there were more but we did not see them they were too far, too high, hidden by the flakes that are lower ...
